In response to the significant influx of refugees arriving in Canada in 2021, NGI, in collaboration with local businesses, the community, and other organizations, embarked on a mission to facilitate the seamless settlement of these deserving families into their new home. Our comprehensive assistance extended beyond providing shelter; we furnished them with essential clothing, furniture, and other household items, including warm winter gear. Additionally, we stocked their pantries with essential food items and actively supported the adults in these families in their pursuit of gainful employment, empowering them to build a stable and prosperous future in Canada. This collective effort showcased the unwavering commitment of NGI and its partners to make a positive impact on the lives of those seeking refuge and a fresh start in our welcoming nation.
