Inspired by her mother’s journey with Crohn’s disease, Nicole De Marco created The Lotus Project to raise awareness and support for the 300,000 Canadians living with Crohn’s and colitis. These inflammatory bowel diseases affect the digestive system, impacting the body’s ability to digest food, absorb nutrients, and eliminate waste. The Lotus Project aims to shed light on these often-invisible illnesses and raise funds for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada. All donations will directly support research, patient programs, and advocacy efforts to improve the lives of those affected by Crohn’s and colitis.
