Letter From Our Founder: Progress and Partnership

As 2024 enters its final stretch, we’re filled with a mix of gratitude and optimism. The generosity and passion of our supporters, both new and long-standing, continue to amaze us. It’s this shared commitment that allows us to remain dedicated in our pursuit of micro-impact initiatives that truly uplift communities.

Our work with Inspira in Peru and the Caritas School of Life in Toronto is ongoing, and we’re excited about a new project in Honduras aimed at delivering 150 desks to a school in need. Student engagement is also on the rise, with over 30 young people now contributing their time and talents. As a team, we’ve surpassed 3,600 volunteer hours since 2016 and raised over $350,000 – a testament to what’s possible when people come together.

August saw the launch of Project Butterfly, an AI-powered reading comprehension tool. A big thank you to the GLM3 team and Lance McCormick for their technical expertise in helping bring this project to life. It has the potential to be truly transformative in improving literacy outcomes.

Looking ahead to 2025, we plan to deepen our support for both the Caritas School of Life and Inspira. Additionally, we’ll be turning our attention to the urgent needs of refugees and displaced people in some of the world’s most challenging regions. We’re actively seeking partners who share our focus on providing essentials like food, water, education, and healthcare.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we can spark hope and create lasting change in the lives of those who need it most.
